BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Buffalo Police have arrested 20-year-old Anthony Amos of Buffalo for the attempted robbery of a fast food restaurant Thursday night.

Amos entered the McDonald's at the 200 block of Grider Street in Buffalo around 7:00 p.m. Thursday armed with a gun. A one point, Amos ordered everyone to the ground, but an off duty employee apparently knocked the gun from the suspect and took him to the ground. The store manager is also believed to have assisted at some point.

At that time, officers entered the restaurant and helped to apprehend the suspect and place him under arrest.

Amos has been charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and other charges.
