BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) Assemblyman Sean Ryan is asking the State Board of Regents to make an exception, and allow students who missed this week's regents exams due to snow days to get a second shot.

Ryan says the NYS Education Department should use June's exams as make-up tests for kids who had their exam days cancelled during this week's frigid weather.

But the Board of Regents says it's not that easy. These tests take several months to prepare, and test writers would not be able to create a new exam in time for June.
