CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. – Assemblyman Dennis Gabryszak (D-Cheektowaga) is cordially inviting veterans of the 143rd District to attend this year’s “A Salute to Our Veterans: A Patriotic Tour of West Point and New York City” to be held Sept.18-21.

“In 2011, I had the privilege of taking local veterans and their families on a tour of Washington D.C. We visited various monuments and historical sites in our great capital of the United States. I was asked at that time to consider a future trip to highlight historical landmarks in the New York City area,” said Gabryszak.

This four day tour is sure to be a great experience filled with excitement and fun. The places that will be visited include West Point, Purple Heart Museum, 9/11 Memorial, Intrepid Museum, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and much more. The tour is open to anyone who is a veteran and or had/has a veteran in their family and lives within the 143rd NYS Assembly District, which includes the Towns of Cheektowaga and Lancaster and the Villages of Sloan, Depew, and Lancaster.

“I am extremely excited to spend time with our local veterans. New York City has so many amazing sites to see and I think this trip will definitely be one that they will never forget,” said Gabryszak.

A deposit of $100 per person is required to reserve your seat on this tour. The seats are held on a first come, first serve basis. The final payment is due August 10. To register, please send your deposit to Assemblyman Dennis Gabryszak, c/o Adam Locher, 2560 Walden Avenue, Suite 109, Cheektowaga, NY 14225.
