BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) Police have charged a Buffalo man with manslaughter in connection with the city's 51st homicide this year.
41-year-old Dwain Walker of Kingsley Street was charged Friday morning by homicide detectives.
The suspect turned himself in, at police headquarters, this morning," according to Dennis J. Richards, chief of detectives.
Walker was charged in connection with the November 17th homicide of 48-year-old Sammy Cooley. Cooley was severely cut with glass stemware in his Lonsdale apartment and died as a result of his injuries.
Walker had been the subject of a police pick-up order since shortly after the incident on Lonsdale Road.
