BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- A Marist College Poll released on Friday shows Republican Carl Paladino is trailing his Democratic challenger, but not as much as another poll showed on Thursday.
This on the day that candidate Cuomo shuffled off to Buffalo seeking cash for his campaign.
Friday's poll questioned likely voters, of which 52 percent support Andrew Cuomo, compared to 33 percent for Carl Paladino.
The two are 19 points apart. Thursday's Siena Poll showed Cuomo leading Paladino by 33 points.
On Friday, Cuomo arrived in Buffalo for a $1,000 per person fundraiser, and Paladino made an offer to debate immediately.
"Why don't you stop at one of our radio stations and we'll come over and we'll have our first debate," Paladino said.
Earlier in the day during a campaign stop in Rochester, Cuomo said he is willing to debate.
"I'm open to debating I said that about a week ago now. My campaign and the other campaigns will be talking, we have to figure out the best way," said Cuomo.
