Among the issues to be discussed during next Tuesday's Erie County Legislature Economic Development Meeting
will be a proposal that urges the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) to discontinue the advertising of alcoholic beverages on the exterior or interior of light rail train cars and buses.
Representatives of the Erie County Council on the Prevention of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse and the NFTA have been invited to speak to the committee which is chaired by Legislator Thomas A. Loughran (D-Amherst).
The item was introduced by Chairperson Betty Jean Grant (D-Buffalo) and Legislator Timothy R. Hogues (D-Buffalo)
The meeting will be held in the Legislature Chambers on the Fourth Floor of Old County Hall, 92 Franklin Street, Buffalo, and is open to the public.
