Larry Neumann has had plenty of birthdays, but it is safe to say this was his biggest one yet, turning one hundred and celebrating with family and friends.

"It's wonderful. Wonderful. Hard to describe in words," he said.

There were plenty of pictures to be taken, sitting next to his wife Lillian. The two have been married for 74 years.

"And we are onto our 75th and lord willing we will see that," she said to the crowd.

Neumann was drafted into the Navy during World War Two, serving in Guam. He has lived in Ransomville his whole life and has 6 children, 20 grand children, 42 great grand children, and one great great grand child.

The man of the party even received a certificate from the Niagara County Legislature, recognizing a life well lived.

So what is the secret to living a full century?

"Good clean living," Neumann said with a smile.
