Glenwood, NY

A new wave of skiers are hitting the slopes at the kissing bridge ski resort in Glenwood.

"We are probably on our third generation of skier out here. And some of our older skiers come out, usually during the daytime and of course they remember the old days when we had one T-bar and a rope tow and now we have nine lifts and over 37 slopes," said Mark Halter President

And the kids are taking advantage of all the trails as well as the terrain park where they can do tricks until they can't bare the cold anymore!

"Yeah I've been hitting all the big jumps, doing some cool tricks," said Ian Wilson, who was skiing at Kissing Bridge.

"We like to go on the terrain park and go fast and stay in the powder," said Matt Sobota, also skiing at Kissing Bridge.

Halter says the future of the business lies with the younger generation. So this year they opened two new beginners lifts and added a brand-new children's learning center. Executives at Kissing Bridge are also featuring specials and parties throughout the season in honor of their anniversary.
