Perry, NY (WKBW) Saturday night Main Street in the Village of Perry was packed with people for a holiday light festival, but just a few blocks away two masked men were thinking of a way to make a quick buck. Just before 6 p.m. two men wearing dark clothes, ski-masks and gloves forced their way into the home of an 88 year old woman on Handley Street.
"Two individuals entered her house...one of them grabbed her, pushed her onto the couch and held her there while the other searched her personal belongings.", says Mike Grover of the Perry Police Department. After twenty five minutes the pair fled the house with an undetermined amount of cash and were picked up by a waiting get-a-way vehicle. The elderly victim sustained some minor bruises and a small cut on her nose in the incident. If you have any information please contact Village of Perry Police at (585) 237-5445.
