7 things to do in Western New York this weekend: June 8 - June 10

It's a big weekend for music and art in Western New York. Some of the biggest country stars will be in Buffalo Friday, while neighbors in Niagara County will hear the thundering boom of some of the best pilots our Air Force has to offer flying across the sky Saturday.

 

WYRK Toyota Taste of Country 2018

Some of the best country music stars will grace the stage at Coca-Cola Field Friday. Thomas Rhett, Chris Janson, Scotty McCreery, Danielle Bradberry and Kate Mallen will all play downtown in front of thousands of fans. According to WYRK, there are still tickets remaining in the stands. Gates open at 4 p.m. 

 

Jack White

The former singer of The White Stripes will perform at Artpark Friday. The concert starts at 8 p.m. 

 

Murder Mystery-Death at Doug's Dive

Did somebody say...murder! You and your pals can *kill* some time touring Buffalo on a double-decker bus solving a murder mystery Saturday. Tickets cost $30. Performances begin at the Flying Bison Brewery at 6 p.m. You can find more information, click here.

 

Allentown Art Festival

If you're looking for some new home decor, why not check out the Allentown ArtFestival here in Buffalo. The festival takes place both Saturday and Sunday. 

 

Thunder of Niagara International Air Show 2018

Thousands of spectators will be flying high as they watch some of the best pilots speed across the skies of Niagara County. The Thunder of Niagara International Air Show is free to the public both Saturday and Sunday. The show takes place at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station. Gates open at 9 a.m. The show doesn't start until 11 a.m. 

 

Batavia Bourbon and Whiskey Fest

If you're a fan of bourbon and whiskey, you may want to check this out. Batavia Downs Gaming & Hotel will be hosting a bourbon and whiskey festival Saturday between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. You can find tickets the event right here

 

East Aurora Music Fest

You can catch 80 bands at 20 different venues Saturday in East Aurora. Proceeds go towards a good cause. For a complete lineup, click here
