By WKBW Directors

Batavia, NY (WKBW) -- Police in Batavia, NY released findings in the investigation into the death of a man found outside a Blockbuster store on Saturday.

Police say that the cause of death has been determined to be blunt force injury to the head as a result of an un-witnessed fall.

The investigation indicates that Mr. Maher had been consuming alcohol prior to his death. The investigation also indicated that Maher had told acquaintances that he desired to harm himself, though it is not believed his death was a result of suicide.

Police are continuing to investigate the case, and look into Maher's activities prior to the discovery of his body.
