NIAGARA FALLS, NY ( WKBW ) Channel 7's Keith Radford broke into broadcasting at a radio station in Windsor, Ontario. Back in those days, Keith was doing the news while Tommy Shannon was spinning the records.

One of the artists popular then, and still today...Frankie Avalon.

The teen idol from Philadelphia, famous for those "Beach Blanket Bingo" movies with Annette Funicello continues to make music. He claims his 50 year career had its roots in Buffalo.

Channel 7's Keith Radford caught up with Avalon at the Seneca Niagara Entertainment Center recently, along with actress, model, and entertainer Susan Anton.

Anton was a popular model and actress in the 1970's, and was married to the late Dudley Moore for a period of time. Anton's career has flourished over the years, and continues to dazzle audiences.

More than 15 years ago, Susan visited Western New York to perform at the Variety Kids Telethon. She and her husband returned for several years from their Las Vegas base to help Women & Children's Hospital, and other children's charities.

Radford talked about that with Anton in his exclusive one on one meeting.
