Victim in Serious Condition After Motorcycle Accident

Sources tell Eyewitness News that 17-year-old Jacob T. Eddy of Gowanda, is listed in serious condition with injuries he sustained in an early evening crash Saturday.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department report to Eyewitness News that Eddy was operating a 2001 Kawasaki motorcycle along Route 62 in the Town of Persia, when he lost control and slid into a ditch before coming to rest back in the roadway. Eddy was airlifted to the E.C.M.C. with significant internal injuries.
