Wednesday night was a special party, but unfortunately the pint sized guest of honor, three year old John Millen couldn't make it after spending the night in the hospital.

"He got discharged about 2 p.m. today but he just fell asleep on the way home and he's at home sleeping right now. He just needs to rest and recover," said Chad Millen, John's father.

It wasn't a huge scare compared to what the Millen's have dealt with in the past, but only a minor cold for their little boy.

But family, friends and supporters continued the party to raise money for John's care.

It all began four short months ago in October when the Millen's noticed something wasn't right with John. They took him to Women and Children's Hospital and doctors diagnosed him with Diffused Intrinsic Pontine Glioma an inoperable tumor on John's brain stem.

With treatment doctor's say John may live for about 18 months. Still the Millen's are clinging to hope and even closer to their friends and family.
