21 Local Post Offices Could Soon Close

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW-TV) - The United States Postal Service is considering closing 21 post offices in Western New York.
This is part of a nationwide reorganization of the nation's mail service as it looks to trim costs.

According to the postal service website, the 3,653 were chosen because they get the least amount of foot traffic and retail sales. Currently, there are approximately 32,000 post offices nationwide.

• Silver Lake, 14549

• Lackawanna-Buffalo, 14218

• Niobe, 14758

• Broadway-Fillmore Station, 14212

• Federal, Rochester, 14614

• Morton, 14508

• Allentown, 14707

• Black Creek, 14714

• Centerville, 14029

• Dayton, 14041

• Downtown Elmira, 14901

• Farmersville Station, 14060

• Hume, 14745

• Little Genesee, 14754

• Otto, 14766

• Perkinsville, 14529

• Rexville, 14877

• Richburg, 14774

• West Clarksville, 14786
