Lexi Behan is fighting for her life, currently on a ventilator until she can breathe on her own.
Behan was sitting on her front porch with her family, when she washit by a stray bullet on Buffalo's West Side. A 33 year-old man was also shot and a 9 year-old was injured running away from the scene.
The family says Lexi is currently on a ventilator and under sedation. The bullet struck both of her lungs and is currently lodged near her carotid artery.
There's currently a tear in her esophagus and doctors are hoping it will scar over and repair itself. More surgery may by needed.
Lexi's brother has created a GoFundMe account to help pay for medical expenses.
