For the 12th year, 97 Rock and 7 Eyewitness News are partnering to feed hungry families in Western New York through the Food Bank of Western New York.
97 Rock's DJ Jickster will spend one week living inside a Food Bank of WNY trailer in the Eastern Hills Mall parking lot. He will be on hand to collect donations of frozen turkeys, non-perishable food items and monetary contributions.
Even if you can't afford to donate a lot, keep in mind just $1 can buy six meals for families in need through the food bank.
Last year, Rock Out Hunger collected more than 4000 turkeys, breaking a collection record! This year, the goal is 5,200 turkeys!
You can drop off donations 24 hours a day until 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 22nd at 4545 Transit Road. The trailer is located off Transit, in the parking lot section in front of Bon Ton.
