The Bills WR will miss some time, but it could have been worse. "Nothing serious. No long term damage", said Nelson. "The way it looked on film, the way it felt on the field. I'm very lucky to have the diagnosis that I got".
Head Coach Chan Gailey says he expects Nelson to miss a few more days with Wednesday an early target for his return to practice.
"It wasn't bad bad, but he's going to be out 4-to-5 days. It's a good thing we have the day off tomorrow, will give him an extra day.", said Gailey.
Nelson watched the first night practice of training camp from the sideline, and was joined by a couple of his teammates. Tackle Eric Pears was a spectator for the second straight day, he's nursing an aggravated groin. You can also add cornerback Justin Rogers to the injury list. Rogers tweaked a hamstring on Sunday and is expected to miss 4-to-5 days with the injury.
