Pittsford - You hear it every year.. players saying "We can't wait to hit someone in a different colored uniform".. and we've reached that point here at training camp. The preseason opener is on the horizon, and things got a little chippy on Monday. The best scrum of the day happened between DE T.J. Langley and OG Isaiah Thompson. The pair of undrafted free agents got into and exchanged several punches during OL vs. DL 1-on-1 drills.

On the injury front Bills NT Torell Troup left practice early with a hand injury. Head Coach Chan Gailey said he didn't have the test results back when we spoke to him after practice, but said the injury was serious enough to take him off the field.

Also on Monday LB Chris Kelsay and WR Roscoe Parrish were held out of practice because of "tightness".

One injury to watch is that of Demetrius Bell. The left tackle is expected to miss at least the next couple of days with a shoulder injury suffered on Sunday. The injury leaves the Bills VERY thin at the position. Two second year tackles are trying to fill the void. Ed Wang ran with the ones on Monday, Cordaro Howard is backing up Wang.
Chan Gailey admits the lack of depth is a concern. "We don’t have a lot of depth right now.", said Gailey after practice. Ed (Wang) has played none, Cordaro (Howard) played very little last year. So we really don’t have any depth at that position. We’ve got to develop that and that’s what training camp’s about. We would have loved to have more time to do it but you take what you have.

Bills players have Monday night off. They will not practice on Tuesday. Players get back on the field on Wednesday and Thursday before traveling to Chicago on Friday.
