If you have been outside lately you know how windy it is out there. We were lucky this weekend to have what I think might be our last few days of mild weather. So, I took Frankie out for a walk Sunday night, like I usually do on the few nights I am home and not working. After about twenty minutes I turned for home and a lady was coming the other way with her dog. This usually means trouble. Frankie, for some reason, maybe his size, (6 pounds) must always try and prove he's a lot bigger than any other dog he comes across. Even if that dog happens to be a Saint Bernard! Anyway, he always goes down into a stealthy-crouch position, ready to attack the moment he spots another canine! Turned out the lady was walking a wiener-dog. It was dark so she strained to see what was on the end of my leash. She finally said, "oh, is that a squirrel?" I said "no madame, he's a Yorkie". I got Frank out of there ASAP. Hoping he didn't hear her.
