Wow! I'm still plugging away at this. I admit quitting has crossed my mind, but it's not an option.
Day 8 consisted of the Back To Core routine again. Second time for this one and I noticed an improvement from the first time. You spend a lot of time on your stomach with your legs and arms extended trying to look like superman. Glad there are no cameras around when I'm doing this!
Day 9 was Vertical Plyo and that meant a lot of jump roping and agility drills.
Day 10 was Saturday and it was called Relief. So I played in a charity hockey game and then my son had an ice hockey birthday party. Birthday party was a blast and we finished with a father versus son game on the ice. Spending time on the ice with my son is priceless!
Sunday was called Game Day. This workout was 60 minutes, the others have been 40 to 50 minutes so I had to really psyche myself up for this one. It's easy to come up with an excuse on why I should not do the workout but winning the mental battle is as important as winning the physical battle. I have three very active kids so I have excuses at every turn :) I admit this workout went by quickly and it was a lot of fun.
Day 12 was another Back To Core workout and it does get easier.
Day 13 was Strength and I did more pull-ups and push-ups this time around.
In life anything that you have to work really hard for you will appreciate more. I have 17 workouts to go and when I finish I will fully appreciate this.
