The exhibit will feature artwork from Western New York artists focused on local steel and manufacturing history. Many of the artists were former steel and manufacturing workers themselves. Some noted artists include John DiBari, George Grace, Robert Masak, John Schweikhard, Peter Sutton, Carol Syracuse, & more to be announced.
Also, Through My Eyes will feature 30 of the Steel Plant Museum’s favorite artifacts. The Steel Plant Museum of Western New York is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary and will be displaying never before seen artifacts in this new exhibition. The artifacts range from materials used in the production of steel to objects used for administrative duties.
