(WKBW/Cleveland Clinic) A new study finds a link between certain foods and weight gain.
Harvard University researchers found that weight gain was most strongly associated with the intake of potato chips, potatoes, sugar-sweetened beverages, unprocessed red meats, and processed meats, like hot dogs, deli meats and sausage.
The study shows foods that appeared to have helped people lose weight include vegetables, whole grains, fruits, nuts, and yogurt.
Researchers say the results show small changes to your diet now will help you reach your long-term goals.
