Buffalo Organization Marks National Eating Disorders Week

(WKBW) The week of February 26th marks National Eating Disorders Awareness Week.

Jewish Family Service of Buffalo and Erie County offers a lifeline of confidential, compassionate support, helping people and their families with diagnosis and treatment.

Eating disorders are a group of serious conditions in which a person is so preoccupied with food and weight they have trouble focusing on anything else.

They affect males and females of every age, from pre-teens to seniors and can be life-threatening.
