(WKBW) We posted a story a few days ago on how the U.S. government is investigating the possible health risk of a popular hair straightening product called Brazilian Blowout. The product was found to have formaldehyde in it, a chemical that may cause cancer in humans.
Now Health Canada has conducted its own tests that showed 12 percent formaldehyde in the product. It is now stopping the distribution of Brazilian Blowout to all salons in Canada and is informing consumers of the health risks associated with the product.
