Here's a story that sums up what the holiday season is all about...Students from the Adaptive Family and Consumer Science Class at Lake Shore Central High School have been working harder than Santa's elves this year! They decided instead of exchanging gifts with each other this year...they would create fleece quilts...and donate them to the Lake Shore Nursing Home in the Town of Irving.

The fleece, donated by Debbie Wasieczko, was put to good use by the students...who spent many hours cutting and tying the material into quilts.

Today was delivery day for the quilts...the students got to present their hard work and kindness in person at the nursing home...bringing many smiles and good cheer for their efforts!
