Despite the warnings of internet predators, teenagers continue to post personal details about their life online. So, how can you make sure your kids remain anonymous on the web?

According to a survey by the University of New Hampshire, a third of teens post personal information on the web. Many young adults will even include their real name, phone number and their home address. This, of course, puts them at risk. Experts say
the best way for parents to keep `creeps' away, is to pay close attention to what your kids are doing on the internet. Be sure to monitor where they go, whom they talk to, and how much time they spend online. But be prepared, your teen will probably put up a fight. The important thing is to not back down when your teen argues.

Experts say it's best to keep the computer in an open place where you can easily see the screen. Also, children should only have one to two hours of "screen time" per day, that includes t.v., video games and the internet.
