Does Video Game Violence Really Matter?

As technology advances, so do the graphics in the latest video games. Fast cars, blazing guns and plenty of sexual innuendo are a part of many of the most popular games. Images at times are so graphic, we can't show them on t-v.

But how do these images affect children? Researchers from Iowa State University did three different studies. They defined violence not necessarily as an indication of gore, but as intentional harm inflicted on another character. All three found that kids who played even mildly violent video games became more verbally and physically aggressive. Experts say when it comes to video games, parents have to be vigilant.
