ELLICOTTVILLE, NY (WKBW-TV) - Bright and early Saturday morning the ski slopes at Holiday Valley opened to winter enthusiasts.
Jane Eshbaugh, Marketing Director for Holiday Valley says four slopes are now open after crews worked day and night to make enough snow.
Eshbaugh says they are not worried about the warm start to the season. She said they just need temperatures to be below freezing to make snow.
This season also marks the grand opening of the resort's new lodge. The $12 million, 66,000 square foot facility replaces the old Clubhouse Chalet.
