You will keep the stickers as "proof". The Manufacturer will have documentation on their website as well. Fill in the form at tax time & you will be ok. find out more

Where do you send the stickers from the qualifying windows? How is it determined how much credit you get? Do you just note it when you file your federal taxes next year, or is there a form you send in? What is the qualifying energy savings needed?

For tax purposes you need to have a manufacturer's statement that the specific windows you are purchasing qualify for the tax credit. In my case I had to save the stickers off the windows (Marvin Integrity) that give energy information.
