BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -New York Magazine's website Vulture.com is reporting a movie called 'Draft Day' will star actor Kevin Costner as the General Manager of the Buffalo Bills. Before it goes to production, it first has to get approval from the National Football League. Vulture reports the NFL is not only considering allowing the project to move forward, but it might also kick in $20 million as well.
The movie, which will be directed by Ivan Reitman, centers around a fictional GM in Buffalo who is trying to land the number one draft pick. Costner's character will also deal with family and romantic issues. In the past, the NFL has denied several other requests to allow any of it's teams featured in a film, but under this reported negotiation, if the NFL puts money into the film, it will have some control over the content.
