Lockport, NY (WKBW) - A woman found clinging to life on a snow bank in the freezing temperatures has died, according to Lockport Police.
The woman has not been identified.
Police say she was spotted on Davison Road in Lockport outside of the former Niagara County infirmary building.
When emergency crews arrived on scene, she was unconscious.
The victim was rushed to Eastern Niagara Hospital, where she died a short time later.
Investigators did not find any signs of trauma. The cause of her death remains unknown.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
