According to the Transportation Security Administration, a woman was arrested at a Buffalo Niagara International Airport checkpoint Tuesday morning after TSA officers discovered she had an 8-inch knife in her carry-on bag.
The woman, a Buffalo resident, voluntarily surrendered the knife to TSA officials.
TSA contacted the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority Police, who ran a check on the Atlanta-bound passenger and arrested her on an outstanding warrant. There was no impact to airport operations.
