SPRINGVILLE, N.Y (WKBW) One day after setting records for warm temperatures, the South Towns and Southern Tier are being buried under heavy lake effect snow.
In many areas, high winds blew the snow around creating blinding white-outs and blizzard-like conditions.
Areas around Springville and Gowanda were seeing very heavy snowfall, with several inches falling every hour.
Driving conditions are being reported as very poor as wind still remains strong and snow continues to fall.
