LANCASTER, NY (WKBW) - Kids at the William Street School in Lancaster choosing a few new books to read tonight and they're doing it for a great cause.
All the proceeds from the school's book fair are going to Women and Children's hospital and the giving doesn't stop there.
Over the past week students have collected a different coin each day, raising more than $5,000.
The new books purchased by donations will be added to "The Book Nook" at Women and Children's Hospital giving patients there a chance to escape through a good book.
