ALDEN, N.Y. (WKBW) - A Grand Island woman was arrested on multiple drug charges Saturday afternoon.
Police say around 1:15 p.m., they stopped a black Mercedes in the Town of Alden for passing in a no passing zone.
The driver, 29-year-old Kristyn Dowd, was found to have an expired license. While interviewing Dowd, police observed a small envelop, which ended up containing heroin. In addition, five baggies of heroin were found.
Dowd was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, and several traffic tickets.
She is scheduled to appear in Town of Alden Court on a later date.
