ALDEN, N.Y. (WKBW) - An Alden man was arrested early Saturday morning after State Police based out of Clarence responded to the report of a domestic incident.
Police say 43-year-old Matthew Poole physically threatened and subsequently assaulted a woman. In the process, she and her 8-month-old infant sustainted injuries.
Poole was charged with Assault, Menacing, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Harassment, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
The woman and her child were transported by EMS to a local area hospital for further medical evaluation.
Poole was processed at SP-Clarence and arraigned in the Village of Alden Court. He was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $1000 bail.
