2-Alarm Fire on Buffalo's East Side Injures Firefighter

Buffalo Firefighters are on the scene of a 2-alarm fire in the 100 block of Box Avenue.

Firefighters are battling the blaze at 167 Box Avenue. According to responders, the fire started in a car in the back of the home.

The fire spread to the house and quickly made it's way to the attack.

Firefighters began to settle the blaze but had to retreat because of the temperature.

One firefighter suffered a shoulder injury which is said to be minor.

The blaze caused over $100,000 in damages.

EWN crews will remain at the scene throughout the morning.
