A bird lover’s paradise, Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary is a family owned, not-for-profit, 501c3 organization, located in northeastern Cattaraugus County. It is the worlds largest Waterfowl Sanctuary where you can observe over 350 waterfowl, 24 exotic species and feed them out of your hand! Where else can you see singing and dancing swans that fly 100mph or help in saving the NeNe Geese, the only endangered geese that are native to Hawaii? At Gooseneck Hill, their mission is to protect waterfowl in a natural habitat and foster the preservation of endangered species. They’re open on Sundays in the summer from 2p-5p and anytime for groups or buses of 15 or more. The tour includes a humorous yet educational slide show, an adult puppet and parrot show, the gift shop (1,000 items) and hand feeding the 550 birds and 2,000 koi fish.
