Carly’s Club for Kids & Cancer Research in WNY and the Aquamarine Group invite you to celebrate SummerHeat, a distinctive, South Beach party style event to benefit pediatric cancer research and patient care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Join us on Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Statler Towers for this chic evening of exceptional food, unmatched auction items, top-rated entertainment, and more!

Carly’s Club for Kids & Cancer Research in WNY exists to offer support to children diagnosed with cancer and their families, and to raise funds for pediatric cancer research seeking cures at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Managed by the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, Carly’s Club was founded by Carly Cottone-Collard who was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of eight. Carly faced her battle against cancer with amazing courage and optimism, but sadly, she lost her hard-fought battle in August of 2002.

The legacy that Carly created through her ambition to make a difference for other kids battling cancer has touched many lives. Our family was especially touched by Carly’s story and friendship, so we decided to form the Aquamarine Group to honor her memory and continue her mission. Aquamarine represents Carly’s birthstone, her favorite color, and her unique flair for style. It was in honor of Carly’s unique flair that we came up with the idea to create Buffalo’s premier party of the season – SummerHeat.
