Person First Forum, a series by the Museum of disABILITY History, welcomes self-advocate Rich Marino and his helper dog, Tobey, who will “show and tell” the importance that specially trained animals play in the lives of individuals with disabilities. The activities continue at noon with “Story Time at the Museum” featuring the reading of two children’s books that are part of our educational curriculum: “Best Dog for the Job” and “Looking Out for Sarah.”
The presentation will include:
- Brief History of Guide Dogs
- Care and Usage
- School requirements
*Free admission to the Person First Forum.
*Regular Museum admission applies for those who wish to have a tour of the Museum of disABILITY History (open from 10am-4pm).
