The Clement Mansion, designed by prominent Buffalo architect, E.B. Green, reflects a period of great growth and prosperity in Buffalo’s history. In 1941, Carolyn Tripp Clement donated the house, to the Greater Buffalo Chapter of the American Red Cross. In an interview, Mrs. Clement said, “I shall be amply rewarded knowing that my home will be used by the American Red Cross.”
Please join us for an inside look at this 100 year-old masterpiece and learn more about its current use as Red Cross local headquarters. Guided tours will start every 20 minutes between noon-4pm on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22 for a suggested donation of $5.
Special guest speaker Peter Clement will talk about the history of the house and the family at 10am Saturday Sept 21, and a Behind the Scenes Cocktail Tour is available between 6-8pm that evening for $45/person, including cocktails and light hors d'oeuvres.
