Join us for a grand celebration of the museum’s 30th season—and the start of Canal Fest! Learn how BOTH of these great resources have been important to the history, development, and culture of the Tonawandas. Dive into the subject with special crafts and activities to kick-off the festival, and at 1:00pm explore more about the Erie Canal with a program of songs and stories by Dave Ruch. Top off the celebration with hot dogs, popcorn, and an old-fashioned ice cream social. This program, which is free and open to the public, is made possible through the support of the New York Council for the Humanities’ Speakers in the Humanities program.
