What: AIDS Walk Buffalo is a 5K (3.1 mile) fundraising walk, benefiting the programs and services of Evergreen Health Services. Each year, 500 individuals walk as one to honor those living with HIV & AIDS and to memorialize those who have lost their battle with the disease. Further, this annual community gathering serves as a vital vehicle to raise awareness of the impact HIV/AIDS continues to have in Western New York.

10am—Opening Ceremonies and Walk kicks off
Goal: To raise $75,000 through the efforts of our sponsors, teams and walkers
Fee: No cost to walk, everyone is welcome. Interested Walkers may register at http://www.aidswalkbuffalo.kintera.org
Where the money goes: Funds raised benefit a specialized medical practice, housing and nutrition assistance, care coordination, testing, counseling and other services for individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS. Evergreen Health Services also has strong youth education, outreach and testing programs that help individuals lead healthy, active lives.
