As part of Buffalo State’s Year of the City, artist Mariam Ghani will deliver a free lunchtime lecture on March 12 from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Burchfield Penney Art Center Auditorium. Ghani is a Brooklyn-based artist, writer, and teacher whose research-based practice examines the intersections among place, memory, history, language, loss, and reconstruction.
