Event Description
World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of Christian women of many traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year on the first Friday of March. Join in the prayer service written this year by the women of France encouraging welcome for migrant people worldwide. Many churches in the Eggertsville/Snyder area will participate, with Amherst Community Church serving as the host for this year's service. Pastor Scott Thomas will give a brief message on the theme "I was a stranger and you welcomed me." A light reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall of the church. All are welcome.
