On Friday, May 3rd , The Buffalo History Museum inaugurates Wine War I, a new annual fundraising event that revels history and spirited times. The celebration will take place at the historic Hotel @ the Lafayette. The event will present tastings from vineyards of Southern Ontario and New York State and a sneak peek of firearms to be featured in the Museum exhibit By Fire and Sword: The War in the Niagara Theatre, 1812- 1814 , opening in September. Festivities include details that connect our bi - national region’s unique stories and an exquisite setting with, sumptuous food stations, locally produced wines, a silent auction, lively entertainment, a commemorative souvenir, and more.
