Calling all academically strong, college bound, high school juniors interested in a medical or legal career. Attend Erie 1 BOCES New Visions Information Night on Wed., Jan. 16 to learn how you can set your college application apart from the rest by participating in an in-depth, yearlong internship program while still in high school.

The Erie 1 BOCES New Visions program links highly qualified high school seniors with mentoring professionals in the workplace and college/university institutions. These competitive, off-site programs integrate English and social studies credits needed for graduation but take place at locations such as Medaille College, Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital and the Veterans Affairs Hospital.

All Erie 1 BOCES high school programs are offered as part of the public education system. The New Visions Information Night will be held on Wed., Jan. 16 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Harkness Career & Technical Center at 99 Aero Drive in Cheektowaga. If you have any questions please visit www.e1b.org or call (716) 821-7035. You may also speak with your school counselor.
