Event Description
The Town of Tonawanda Environment Commission and the Town Police Club are encouraging residents to take a "bite" out of their electric bill this holiday season with the 2012 Ken-Ton Energy-Efficient Holiday Decorating Contest, combining efficient decorating and holiday cheer.
To enter, contestants must create a holiday display that employs energy-efficient ideas. This Holiday Decorating Contest will be judged by the Environment Commission with gift certificate prizes, courtesy of the Town of Tonawanda Police Club. Contest applications are due by December 7, 2012 and can be found online at www.tonawanda.ny.us or in the Supervisor’s office in the Municipal Building at 2919 Delaware Avenue, Kenmore, NY 14217. Judging will take place the evening of December 10, and winners will be announced at the Town Board meeting December 17.
