Dreaming of opening your own business? The Buffalo State Community Academic Center will host a panel discussion featuring West Side entrepreneurs. They will discuss the benefits and challenges of starting and running a business on the West Side. Panelists include Jim Lorigo, owner of The Meating Place; Louise Sano, owner of Global Villages; Prish Moran, owner of Sweetness 7; and Zaw Win, owner of a Massachusetts Avenue laundromat. Bonnie Smith of the Westminster Economic Development Inc. will also be on the panel, which will be moderated by Sue McCartney, director of the Small Business Development Center at Buffalo State. The event is free and open to the public.
